The World’s Most Luxurious Hotel

The 10th Annual World Luxury Hotel Awards winner for 2016 is the oh-so-elegant Armani Hotel Dubai. This sophisticated beauty is situated in the Burj Khalifa - the tallest building in the world. According to the World Luxury Hotel Awards, the hotel "reflects the pure elegance, simplicity and sophisticated comfort that defines Giorgio Armani's signature style."

Armani Hotel Dubai opened in 2010 and offers 160 guest rooms and suites, fine restaurants, exclusive retail outlets and the Armani SPA. The hotel occupies the first 8 floors and levels 38 and 39 of the 163-floor Burj Khalifa, reported The Telegraph. The building overlooks the iconic Dubai Fountain and Dubai Opera House and is adjacent to the immense Dubai Mall.

The hotel is mesmerising in Armani’s signature minimalist style, having its monogram featured on everything in the rooms from the towels to the sugar cubes. Even the flower arrangements are two-toned, reported The Telegraph.

Other nominees included ART Rotana in Bahrain, the Yangtze Boutique Shanghai and Hôtel Le Meurice Paris.
