Clarity Hospitality are providers of software systems to the Capstone group of Hotels and Resorts, so it's fantastic to hear that properties in their portfolio are doing well, not just in New Zealand but in Australia as well.

At the beginning of August, two of the properties in their portfolio have been named as finalists across three categories in the much-contested Australasian Hotel Management Awards. The Capstone group includes Mahana Estate near Nelson and Raetihi Lodge in the Marlborough Sounds.

Capstone’s Australasian Hotel Management Awards entry resulted in Mahana Estate’s executive chef Alistair Forster being named as a finalist in the Hotel Chef category, one of only three New Zealand chefs to make the list of finalists.

Mahana Estate’s villa was named as a finalist in both the New Zealand Lodge and New Zealand Regional Property categories and Raetihi Lodge was also named in the New Zealand Lodge category.
