To avoid this wastage, the non-profit Clean The World collects used soap bars from over 4,000 hotels and recycles them into fresh soap bars for people in need around the world.
CEO Shawn Seipler lets you in to his facility, and explains how the organisation helps make the planet greener and more eco-conscious.
